DAY 4   Killarney- Ring of Kerry- Ross Castle- Cork International Hotel

Today we travel the Ring of Kerry. The Ring of Kerry is one of Ireland’s most popular drives.  We will drive through miles of green, rolling hills, explore colorful, Irish towns, and see a fantastic stretch of Ireland’s rugged coastline. It is a beautiful scenic drive and it’s no wonder that it makes it onto so many traveler’s wishlists. Ross Castle (Irish: Caisleán an Rois) is a 15th-century tower house and keep on the edge of Lough Leane, in Killarney National Park, County Kerry, Ireland. It is the ancestral home of the O’Donoghue clan, though it is better known for its association with the Brownes of Killarney who owned the castle until more recently. Tonight we bed down at the Cork International Hotel.

DAY 5   Blarney Castle–Cobh-Waterford Crystal Tour- Dublin

Blarney Castle (Irish: Caisleán na Blarnan) is a medieval stronghold in Blarney, near Cork, Ireland, and the River Martin. Though earlier fortifications were built on the same spot, the current keep was built by the MacCarthy of Muskerry dynasty, a cadet branch of the Kings of Desmond, and dates from 1446. The Blarney castle is now a partial ruin with some accessible rooms and battlements. At the top of the castle lies the Stone of Eloquence, better known as the Blarney Stone. Tourists visiting Blarney Castle may hang upside-down over a sheer drop to kiss the stone, which is said to give the gift of eloquence. There are many versions of the origin of the stone, including a claim that it was the Lia Fáil — a numinous stone upon which Irish kings were crowned. Waterford Crystal is a manufacturer of crystal. It is named after the city of WaterfordIreland. We will tour the Factory before heading to Dublin where we end our tour of Ireland and head to London tomorrow.

DAY 7   London- Windsor Castle, Highclare Castle -London

Today we travel to the Royal Residence of Queen Elizabeth. After a tour of Windsor Castle we head to Highclere and have lunch before touring the Highclere Castle. Highclere Castle was a filming location for the British comedy series Jeeves and Wooster, which starred comedians Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. It was also used as the main filming location for the award-winning period drama Downton Abbey.[3] The great hall and some of the bedrooms located inside the building were also used for filming.

Tony’s Tours will provide Hop on Hop off Tickets so you can travel anywhere in London for site seeing and get off if you like, before catching another bus to take you to your next location.
